"My family of four really enjoyed the house. The location to the park and town center were very convenient. Easy walking distance to both. The traditional home had a nostalgic feel while having all the modern amenities of a newer home. (Including very nicely updated bathrooms)The back yard and gardens were amazing. We made fires in the cosy little mini cottage. Nice way to end the evening. If you have a family or group, I highy recommend this place vs a hotel."

"Das mitten in Wiesen gelegene Haus ist neu renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Am Morgen erwachten wir mit Vogelgezwitscher. Hinter dem Haus konnten wir Fasane beobachten. Über den Anfahrtsweg zum Haus hoppelten Kaninchen. Das Kaminfeuer brannte bei unserem Eintreffen schon. Die sehr freundlichen Besitzer, die ca. 300 m entfernt wohnen, haben uns mit Milch und Eiern von glücklichen Hühnern versorgt. His mother met us at the property when we arrived to show us around, and she made fresh scones for us as well. This is in a great location that's quiet but also not far from sites. "Wonderful views over the Kenmare River. A great area for sitting outside, with picnic table. Big windows. Surrounded by trees, flowers and birds. Super efficient heating and Wi-Fi. Well-equipped kitchen. Quite remote, up a narrow lane, not suitable for driving back after an evening in the pub! Needs a little updating: curtains in bedrooms are very thin, letting in light in the mornings; a couple of floor lamps in the sitting area would make reading easier in the evenings; and a new sofa would be...

"Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!"

"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Park Place has an excellent location. Very easy walk to main street Killarney with food and shops. It was a short run/walk to Killarney National Park as well which was a welcome surprise. Parking was very easy. The downsides were that the wi-fi did not work well, if at all; and the hallways were like a motel and not well maintained. The room itself was great and clean. "

"This was an amazing find! Super comfortable bed, loads of hot water in the shower. Its small but so well designed and laid out. Kudos to William! Easy to walk around Killarney and nice and quiet for when you are done. Happily stay again and recommend to anyone to try it out. "
