"The hotel is essentially in the Glendalough recreation area and you need only walk out back to hit the trail. Very convenient. The rooms are clean and well maintained. If you go for an early morning run or walk, your key card room key won’t open all the external doors, which lock behind you during off hours, so be sure to ask how to get back in when the desk isn’t staffed. The breakfast is serviceable but nothing to write home about. Still, I would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was large and clean, and staff were very helpful. It has its own secure parking area for convenience. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The room had a fridge stocked with your morning breakfast so you do not need to wait until breakfast is served if you want to start your day early. Breakfast also included nice croissants delivered to your door in the morning. Powerscourt is a quick drive and a worthy excursion on your trip. We would stay at this hotel again."

"This was our favorite stay in our travels across Ireland. It is a great location especially if you plan on hiking in Wicklow/Glendalough. It was a quiet, well maintained property. Now, there are employees on site during certain times of day so one call out is to pay close attention to your emails as you will get information to access to lodge remotely. The family room with en-suite bathroom was perfect for our family and the room was sizable which is such a welcome surprise when in Europe. And the breakfast at the lodge was awesome! Many continental breakfast choices as well as hot breakfast - the full Irish Breakfast was delicious and the service we received was top notch. I highly recommend this gem."
