"The city pod rooms are in the basement/lower ground level and are not soundproof. They share access with two event spaces which at the time of my stay a private party was being held. You could hear the base and music and people moving around chairs until after midnight. The front desk staff was indifferent and unhelpful. They offered ear plugs which were not effective. There was no warning regarding private parties. No information regarding quiet hours. The room booked was not kept in good condition and had no AC and the proposed fan did not sufficiently cool the room. Since you are at the bottom of the building it is very hot there is one small window that can open but it is accessible from the outside ground level. The hotel is on a street with several nightclubs. It’s a relatively short distance to some attractions but there are better and more affordable locations to book from. I only booked this room for one night and it was my last night out before my flight and it was less expensive for the area and it being a weekend night but it wasn’t worth the price for the experience. The room’s carpet was torn, and so was the chair. There was no mini fridge which isn’t a huge problem but all of the other hotels I booked for this trip (at better rates) had fridges and AC or at least small AC units. "

"There were a lot of kids running around the hallway, screaming, and not being mindful to the other people’s who were staying in the same floor. But other than that, the staff was helpful, and the place was very accessible to the city."

"The room was clean and neat and small. The bed took up half the room. There wasn't space for luggage so we placed the bags on the bed to change. Conveniently located close to St Stephen's Green park and Trinity College."

"The stay was very good. We managed to get an early check-in, which was excellent because we were with our 2 and a half month old baby. Good bed, good shower in the bathroom, I only missed having a mini-fridge in the room and during the night we heard a lot of noise coming from the hallway, which shouldn't happen because it said the room was soundproof."

"This is a newer facility than the other Clayton in Ballsbridge. Liked having control of the thermostat in the room. Bed was nothing outstanding. It was fairly quiet, which we loved. The rooms are large so we liked that. Not a bad stay for one night."

"Great location, just opposite The Square and right beside the Luas stop. We stayed overnight for a show in the 3 arena...literally door to door service on the Luas!! Staff were super friendly. The bedroom was spacious with large comfy bed. Breakfast at 12.50 was excellent value and the fresh fruit salad was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back again! "
