"Had an absolutely wonderful stay loved the 1950s decor and the steel vault doors on bathroom and closet doors are awesome I loved having the windows open and natural air conditioning blowing in from lake Superior was a real treat so much better than air conditioning the staff here is super friendly and nice and hard-working as well and you get a lovely wake up call from the seagulls in the morning so no need to set an alarm clock. We will certainly be back here it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and I love the fact that they're maintaining the original decor keep up the good work."

"We loved our stay at the Croftville studio. It was clean and had everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking if you wished. We particularly liked sitting on the deck overlooking the lake across the road."

"I loved getting to experience how easy Grand Marais is to walk through from this location. Over ten restaurants and several other businesses are all within a 0.5 mile walk of this unit, most much closer. The weather didn't cooperate until the final day of my stay, but I never felt a draft inside even as 40+ mph winds were coming off the East Bay. Host was great. My bathtub started leaking through the ceiling downstairs (not part of the rental unit) but the host made the repairs while I was out without any inconvenience to me. If I were coming to Grand Marais by myself or with one other, this is where I would want to stay again."

"This Vrbo was absolutely fantastic! My partner and I were looking for something on the less expensive side for our anniversary trip, and this was the perfect option for us! The room was spacious, clean and had anything you could think of for a "hotel" stay. The owner truly went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed for your stay. There was even a book that listed fun things and places to eat around town. That was super helpful as we had never stayed in Grand Marais. The jet tub was awesome and great after long hikes! We will absolutely be staying here again when we visit!"
