Grand Hotel and Apartments Townsville

10/10 Excellent
"From check in to check out, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We requested an early check in, which was available. Staff knew our flight arrived quite early, and were able to have our room available even earlier. Which was greatly appreciated. The room was great, very clean and was kept clean throughout our stay. Staff were always friendly and accomodating. It is a great central location. With plenty of cafes & restaurants around you. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return. Thank you for having us"

Vale Hotel

Vale Hotel

8/10 Good
"For my one night stop-over, The Vale was just great. Situated on Ross River Rd. it is approx. half way from where I had been, and where I had to go the following day. The Online check-in worked a treat, the receptionist, who could explain how everything works is courteous and friendly, and "undercover parking" is very secure. My room was spacious and well maintained by the housekeeping staff, with the usual facilities and a nice comfy bed. A visit to the hotel for a refreshment or two, and/or a meal is recommended, also with great staff on duty. However, the negatives; a touch of paint in a few areas would really freshen those up,(areas) and only breakfast packs are available. But yes, I do recommend "The Vale Hotel/Motel" for a stop over or just a meal."
