"Richmond Hill is my little oasis - it is far enough from east London that I feel I'm really away but easy enough to get to with a direct train and then either a 20 min walk (it is up hill!) or 7 min taxi journey.
Either way it is always my first port of call when I need a little rest and relaxation - the drinks at the bar were so good (Mai Tai) is my drink of choice and it didn't disappoint the Sunday lunch (beef) was lovely and the cream tea and the steak on ciabatta - yes I indulged for my birthday weekend and it was so worth it.
