"This iconic hotel located in the heart of Hollywood near all tourist attractions is simply overrated and overpriced!! It may have been a legendary hotel at one time, but it is 2026 and they ain't it anymore. Pool is decent but the snacks suck! Staff is rude and the manager tried to charge me for an extra night after I called reception ahead of time to let them know I was only spending 3 nights there instead of 4. I had just flown cross country, was exhausted, and jetlagged, and all I wanted to do was lay down in the bed in my room. The manager (obviously foreign because he barely spoke English) made me wait over an hour to check in. Will I go back, definitely not in the "high season" when they easily rip off tourists with exuberant price. I MIGHT consider going back if the staff takes some hospitality courses on how to be POLITE to a customer. Still a cool place to party if that's what you do, but the days of celebrities staying there and partying long into the morning doing lines of coke and drinking cheap boozer are over!! Final warning: be careful when you book. It's extremely difficult to contact the front desk directly. The manage will claim that it is a 3rd party's fault. New management is desperately needed!!!"

"Stayed for a few nights and would not stay again. Room was average or 'ok'. If I remember correctly the description indicate a restaurant, they do not have one. The only food available is a small cafe separate from the hotel open only for breakfast. Rooms do not even have a coffee maker, when requested they said they do not have any coffee makers in the hotel. I don't recall ever staying in a hotel that did not have any coffee. The gym was average, enough to get the job done. Hotel is not in a great neighborhood but probably safe enough. For the price I expected more and this was a very basic hotel. Overall I wouldn't stay again. "

"Such a cute property. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Couldn't get shower to not be freezing or scalding but not too big of a deal. Everything else was wonderful. "

"Staff were wonderful and fantastic location right next to the nicest bit of Hollywood Blvd. Room was very clean. Knocking off one star because walls were thin and some noise from hallway, next door, and room above. Bed mattress had seen better days too."
