"The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers. The hotel is very close to town, you can walk. They also have bikes to take around. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in the Highlands!!"

"This property was perfect for my husband and me. We also brought our small dog with us. The weather did not cooperate with us, but we took advantage of the large screened in porch and enjoyed breakfast and coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the late afternoon. The Highlands has wonderful restaurants, so make sure you visit them during your stay. Carole the host was wonderful and answered any questions we had. She made sure to inform us about the area and things to do. "
