Great stay!

We had a really nice time. The house is what we expected with a spectacular view. Centrally located to anything and everything fun. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake. We highly recommend!

Mountain Getaway

We’ve stayed at several different properties in the area and this one is by far superior. This is definitely the only place we will book for future trips. The home is conveniently located, well maintained and very clean. The back deck and view are the best feature. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

Everything we could have wanted!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our week-long stay at this lovely property with a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. The bed was very comfortable, as was all furniture. The bathroom and kitchen were perfectly outfitted with everything we needed, and it was exceptionally clean. We will highly recommend this house To anyone looking for a cool and comfortable stay in the NC mountains!

Great House with Amazing View.

Fabulous mountain rental!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Jason was so easy to deal with and very responsive. The house is super clean and well appointed. We loved the fireplace and the thoughtful supplies in the kitchen and bath. The beds were super comfy. The location is perfect-close to Cashiers and a ton of hiking opportunities. And the view is great. Can’t say enough good things-we will be back!!

Great House for a Getaway

Beautiful home in a quaint neighborhood with amazing views! The floor plan was perfect and allowed my parents to be on one side of the house and my family (my husband and I and our four children) on the other. The home was equipped with everything we could have needed and more! It was very clean and tidy and the owner offered many suggestions on places to eat and shop and things to do locally with our children. Access to a laundry room was a huge plus when coming in from tubing. The amenities at Sapphire Valley were great too. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!

Beautiful Home in Sapphire Valley

Great find in Sapphire Valley! Jason was a great host and answered all of our questions. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The home was very clean. It was close to the Sapphire Valley Resort where we we enjoyed tubing. We also enjoyed some great hikes too.

Summer Getaway

As previously noted, the view from the deck gives this house marks above other houses we've stayed at in the area. We always had a pleasant breeze and lots of wildlife to view including a bear just passing through. The accommodations were exactly as described and very comfortable. The host did a fantastic job of communicating with us prior to and during our stay. Besides adding some comfortable reclining chairs on the back deck, our group gives this property a 10/10. Hope to be back again!

Everything I hoped for!

A lovely and well furnished/equipped home with the best view of the mountains that I have had in my 4 years of staying in sapphire valley. Jason had our names all ready at the sapphire community desk which made the process go super fast for our use of the lake and the other included facilities. Hope to stay here again. Thank you, Jason.

10/10 Mountain Home

This house was so perfect for our family! Having the split floor plan gave us privacy near the kids and my parents got peace and privacy on the other side of the common rooms. The first thing we all did every morning was to look at the view of the mountains. My dad and I sat and swung enjoying that view a lot. All of the beds and furniture was quite comfortable and we loved having the fireplace. The location was central to Brevard and Highlands and we were able to do a lot of adventuring with a quiet and restful place to come back to.

Awesome view

We had a fabulous time at Jason’s house in Sapphire Valley. Some of us played golf and walked the dogs at the dog park. The view was amazing and we loved sitting on the deck to watch the sunset. We had no problem getting amenity cards. Communication was easy and Jason was available for questions at a minute notice. The house was clean and well appointed. We would definitely come back.

Autumn color

Enjoyed a romantic week in the mountain air and colorful splendor of Sapphire. Home is centrally located to many quaint communities, in a paved community of nice homes, and is well appointed and clean. Hosts provided responsive and friendly communication, and were a pleasure to work with. Rear of home boasts 180 degree view of valley and mountains beyond, beautiful from dawn until sunset.

It was a wonderful home.....very comfortable. Beautiful view off the back deck just like pictures. Beautiful area if you enjoy mountain setting. Host was excellent to communicate with. Driveway is short and steep like he mentions in description. There isn't much of a front or side yard so to speak for dogs or kids. Setting is beautiful in a wonderful neighborhood.

Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Celebration.

This year was very special (my birthday and our 70th wedding anniversary). We have stayed in several places in the Sapphire area, but the view there was the most spectacular of all our stays there. I cannot imagine that view during the fall season. The unit is very comfortable in size and furnishings. The entrance would have been a bit of a challenge for me (my 88th birthday) but we had our kids there that took care of all the driving.

A Perfect Mountain Retreat

We loved this vacation home and its stunning views. It was a bit too cold to enjoy the deck a few of the days during our stay, but the bank of windows allowed us to still enjoy the beautiful views from inside. The decor was very pleasing. There was also plenty of storage available for us to organize our stuff, which often is not the case in many vacation rentals we've booked in the past. The community the house is in is also very nice, and with all the roads being paved, it gave us plenty of places to walk the dogs. We enjoyed this vacation home so much that we spent most of our time at the house. The owner was also an excellent host who provided us with all the information we needed while not being overwhelming. He also checked to see if we needed anything during our stay and let us know that we were free contact him for any reason that might came up. We'll definitely book this home the next time we want to stay in Sapphire / Cashiers area of the North Carolina mountains.

The cabin was in a lovely wooded location with gorgeous views. The house itself was very cozy, well-appointed, and immaculate. We enjoyed cozying up by the fire surrounded by the Christmas decor! The owner was communicative and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We vacation near Asheville every fall and have now found our favorite vacation home and view. Jason was a superb host and was in contact with helpful information on arrival and departure. Great location that is easily accessible to Cashiers, Highlands or Brevard with so many opportunities for recreation nearby. Clean, well appointed home with comfortable beds & pillows. This is a beautiful location, great views off the deck to watch sunset. It has a well equipped kitchen if you are going to do any cooking. All the beds are comfortable and the host is quick to respond to any questions. We had a great stay.
