"Easy check in, nice quiet area and pub was lovely"

"We had a wonderful family stay and would highly recommend this hotel. I accidentally booked two rooms when we only needed one, and the staff were incredibly kind and happy to cancel one of the bookings and refund the payment, which we really appreciated. "We chose an inside room, hoping for a dark night, but found out later there was a skylight in the ceiling, which was bright all night long, eye masks were provided. Because the room was windowless there was no airflow, there was a fan on the bedside table, but room was rather hot and stuffy. The beds were just OK. The food at the restaurant was mediocre. Service was great! The grounds were beautiful. Would stay again in a different room."
