"Clean, spacious, minimal issues with internet connection, staff very nice, was not aware the room was going to be upstairs and have no view, but that could be an issue with Wotif, not the venue itself. Fabulous water pressure on shower. "

"The self-check in was a breeze, but our accommodation was the only one without a sign to point the way. But luckily it was in one of the front cottages so easy to find. Very basic room, but really close to Sealink ferry to KI. The frig in our room froze all our food overnight (and we got there after 7pm). Pillows were hard as rocks, but bed was fine. Their cafe is closed but they gave a great recommendation- the Cape Jervis Tavern. Recommend if you need a bite. Worst thing about our room was the black bugs in the bathroom- I counted 14 when I got up to use the facilities that night. Cleaned them up, made sure all suitcases were closed tight, and went back to bed. Sure enough more were there in the morning- although not as many. A couple also in main room. Gross!"

"We loved our short stay at Shell Cottage. We will definitely stay longer next time. The house was spotless and the beds were well made up and super comfy! The set up of the house worked so well for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our weekend.The hosts were excellent communicators and accomodating of everything we needed for a stress-free stay :) "
