A very pleasant stay at a modern well serviced motel. The welcoming drinks for our anniversary were really appreciated as was the cleanliness and overall comfort of the room itself.

If Heyfield has an oasis this is it! What a wonderful property they have at Motel 3858. It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre.
We bought a bottle of wine from the bottlo, had a luxurious outdoor bath in our courtyard, then grabbed a takeaway Pizza to enjoy while watching a Netflix movie on the smart TV (using your own Netflix account). A really nice night in as...

As a visitor to Morwell attending a two day seminar at the Latrobe Regional Gallery my first priority was to find a place to stay within walking distance to the Gallery. Being elderly and slightly handicapped a walk-in shower and ground floor room essential. My hosts were extremely helpful and generous. Upon arrival I was met and informed I had been upgraded and given a ground floor room away from the main road. My host escorted me to the room and ensured that everything was operating...

We have stayed at the Matador in Sale previously. New management are upgrading guest rooms and some common areas. Our newly refurbished room was bright and fresh with an excellent bathroom, split cycle air conditioning, new paint, carpet, curtains and a very comfortable queen bed. For a few extra dollars, be sure to ask for an upgraded room when booking. You won't be disappointed. Included continental breakfast is more than adequate to start the day. Motel staff are most welcoming.

I loved the many plants around the property and that the garden was being very well looked after. They take pride in their property. They were very friendly people and Winston (the gorgeous border collie) finally took to me after a shaky start. The motel is set off the road and very quiet. Mal the owner is very pleasant and obviously enjoys running his motel. Thanks for restful few days.

I have throughout 2016 stayed in most motels in Morwell and without doubt this is the best. Friendly welcome on arrival and shown to room, heater was on which was lovely arriving late afternoon on a cold day. The rooms have been extensively renovated to a high standard including double glazed windows and are very quiet. The king size bed was very comfortable and the included self serve breakfast was well stocked and great. The bathroom had a seperate shower with a fantastic rain shower head,...
