"We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes. The staff were excellent throughout our stay — polite, helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room, Falcor, is located at the back of the hotel above the kitchen. Unfortunately, this meant our night’s sleep was disturbed by occasional noise from what seemed to be a fan or kitchen equipment, followed by a much louder noise at 7:00 am when the kitchen extractor system was switched on for breakfast preparations. Would we stay again? Absolutely — just not in Falcor. "

"We loved our stay at Priory Barn and were welcomed by a lovely complementary basket of wine and snacks. The barn itself is very characterful and ideal for big family groups. There is also a large garden that is great for outdoor activities. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!"

"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful barn. Our son was getting married and it was a perfect stay for a group of family and friends. The garden is a delight and so relaxing . Eating breakfast outside , playing pool in the games room , chilling out together in the lovely sitting room. A quirky , wonderful place to stay. We will definitely come again."

"A lovely secluded property with rural views, secure parking and no neighbours except for the pheasants and woodland birds! Despite the very cold weather conditions, it was warm and cosy, as well as offering all the comforts of home. The fridge/freezer was a good size and the kitchen facilities were more than sufficient for our needs, so that we could self-cater without having to go out to eat. The WIFI signal was really good and reliable. The bed was comfortable. We only noticed the airplane noise on our last day, and living in the flight-path of Luton airport at home it didn't matter to us at all!"

"Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "

"This was our third visit to Bushes Oast which speaks volumes.The property is spacious, well furnished and really comfortable. We do cook nearly all our meals in the kitchen which is really well equipped, so we did notice the scales had a low battery. Minor but inconvenient. Jan and her husband, however, appeared very quickly to sort them out. We return because their standards are so high and because of the utter peace and tranquillity of the location."
