"This was our third year staying at Ocean Sky. A nice small hotel right on the beach. Great location. Restaurants and stores in walking distance, You can walk to Lauderdale by the sea where there are many restaurants bars and shops. The staff is friendly. The tiki hut next store is lively and fun and the food is good."

"This property is beautiful. we have stayed at the Ritz Carlton just down the road and we think this place is better. Very nice restaurant on the ground floor with a great view of the beach.We didn't make it to the roof top, but looks like there is great restaurant up there too. It's also very close to other dining and shopping.the staff were super accomodating and had a rate for a late day check-out. . Rooms were big, open and quiet. We would definately come back."

"Decent place for the price "

"Airport shuttle wait took over 40 minutes. Driver was courteous and kind once he arrived, but the wait was long enough for us to see Red Carpet Inn's shuttle come by three times! Reception was cold and unapologetic despite the fact that check-in time of 3pm had already passed and the room still wasn't ready. Asked about late check out and the gentlemen said he could do that to compensate for the delayed check-in, but that had to be prompted by us and wasn't offered anything initially besides a very unsympathetic apology. Some upsides included a large and spacious lobby, with convenient access to water and coffee, but the games were not maintained in any way shape or form, and there's no in-room coffee/kettle (hence I guess the "perk" of 24/7 coffee/tea/water in the lobby). View from the room was rather sad and the entire area felt a bit like a ghost-town. Very transient feel to the whole place. Probably only ideal for a 1 or maximum 2 night stay. Glad the TV, hair dryer, shower, and all basic amenities were in working order. Overall, value for money is poor. Feels like they just have to gauge tourists for $ and none of the workers really enjoy their job but they're just there because bills have to be paid. "

"My recent stay at the W Fort Lauderdale was unfortunately far more frustrating than expected, especially considering the price point of the property. Upon check in, a simple request regarding the minibar refrigerator quickly turned into a series of unnecessary interruptions. Instead of resolving the request in a straightforward way, multiple staff members were sent to the room throughout the evening, repeatedly ringing the doorbell and bringing equipment, including an additional refrigerator. What should have been a quick and simple matter became disruptive and uncomfortable after a long day of travel. Communication throughout the process also felt inconsistent. I spoke with several different staff members while trying to resolve the situation, and although a room change was eventually provided, it came only after multiple attempts and conversations with different representatives. An initial gesture of points was mentioned but ultimately never honored. I want to acknowledge that some members of the staff were polite and trying to help, but the overall experience lacked the smooth coordination and guest-focused service that one would expect from a hotel at this level. For a stay costing approximately $1,400 for two nights, I expected a much more seamless and relaxing experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving communication and problem resolution so that future guests do not encounter the same level of frustration."

"Took us over 1 hour to get bedding for the pull out couch…after 3 calls, we finally received them. The shower had no door, so showers were cold. The room was freezing when we got there and took several hours to get cooled down."

"The property was clean and beautiful! The staff we encountered were incredibly helpful and kind. My ONLY complaint is being able to hear the other guests in the hallway, but I would absolutely go back. "
