TINY room. No place for suitcases. No place for toiletries in bathroom. View was of peeling paint of building about 10 feet away. Pillows smelled bad. Mattress like a board.

The hotel offers a truly memorable stay, blending comfort with a distinct sense of character that sets it apart from standard accommodations. From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere feels warm and thoughtfully designed, with staff who are attentive without being overwhelming.

I had a wonderful stay at Marina del Rey Hotel. The location is beautiful, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, with gorgeous views of the marina. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The place is kept up immaculately. There are so scuffs on the walls as in all the hotels, all the lights work, all the windows open, carpet is clean, the tile clean, the bathtub is clean. Amazing thing beyond expectations - they have a set of high end knives and every knife is SHARP. The bed is comfortable, the closet is huge - it's basically another room with built in shelves. The bathtub has convenient shower heads. The decor is tasteful with black and yellow on white. The patio has enough space for 2 chairs and a table. 2 things that are not positive that I would like to mention. First, the smell in the apartment is very strong. It's a mix of cleaning stuff and the age of the apartment building. I kept all windows open the whole time I was there and by the 3rd evening, the smell cleared out. Second, the patio and the apartment are NOT ocean oriented and have no ocean view. The ocean view can be seen if you hang off of the patio and turn your head towards ocean. The patio itself is facing parallel to the ocean with the view of rooftops and the rest of the windows face in exactly the opposite direction from the ocean with the view of the next building's windows. Overall, it's an amazing apartment, comfortable, cozy and close to the ocean.
