"I lost my breakfast voucher and showed up at breakfast before a flight and only had 6 min to grab food and they are very adamant about getting it and cannot just get my name and look it up. So I missed breakfast because it starts so late in the A.M. I wish breakfast opened at 6am. Also, the carpeting was stained up very badly in the room. It was a cluttered feel to thr room but I e joked the digital controls for lights and alarm in the morning. The staff was nice but not great English."

"Everyone from the reception to the cleaning staff was very kind and friendly. Of course, the location is convenient. I think even those without children would be very satisfied! Also, the bath looks bigger than it appears, and I definitely recommend it."

"I hated needing the one key card for the elevator. The staff was nice and room was nice. The buffet covers two people max. You must pay per day per adult or child if there is more. Buffet is okay. Rooftop is pretty. Thankfully they have iron for clothes. Nice location near so much food."

"Stayed here for a few days at the end of our trip. The location is excellent, right near Osaka Castle. We had a room with a view of the castle and river, and it was wonderful. The area is very quiet, and surrounded by other high end hotels, and business offices. The staff at the Otani is beyond attentive to your needs, and go the extra step to make you feel welcome. Rooms come with a nice sized soaking tub, and all toiletries one might need, including toothbrush and toothpaste. We arrived early, and were able to check in early at no extra cost. We were also surprised with a some sweets and a card in recognition of my birthday, which fell during our stay. We opted for a triple room, and each of us had our own bed, which was nice. There is a breakfast buffet available which is very convenient, and numerous boutiques, and restaurants to choose from. There's also a Family Mart and Mister Donut nearby, as well as other small coffee shops and eateries. We opted to have a fancy dinner to celebrate my birthday, at the Sakura restaurant, and it was by far one of the best fancy meals I have had in a long time. Worth the splurge, as it was pricier than anything we had during our trip. Will definitely go back to the Otani."

"Short distance walk to Nippombashi station and about a 20min walk to Namba station. The rooms were spacious to keep all of my belongings. The space there to check in is all self check in however calling the staff for help is available. The food there was alright I wouldn’t really recommend it since there’s a bunch of other shops nearby however if you are wanting to travel further grabbing a quick meal isn’t a bad idea."
