"- Location: most excellent - During the middle of our stay, we ran out of body soap in the shower. Asked housekeeping to come and fill the bottle, but the concierge brought a new bottle. We couldn’t remove the old one and replace it with the one he brought. And for the next 3 days, housekeeping didn’t bother to add soap or replace the old soap bottle with the new one. - The TV Channel line-up was limited. On several occasions, BBC channels blanked out every few minutes for a few seconds - The shower was not completely enclosed with glass doors. With a single door covering half the shower, one had to be extra careful to keep the water from splashing out, but it did, and we had to clean the bathroom floor after every shower. "

"Despise first checking into and sleeping the first night in a room where someone had obviously been smoking (they moved us the next day), we thought the room was great. Breakfast great and the location was great. The VIP room was much tinier than the photos indicated with maybe 6-7 tables max that were all occupied every time we went into the room; it wasn't a huge deal for us since we rather explore the city, but there really are people who rather sit in a tiny room for hours drinking free alcohol rather than getting out of the hotel. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely stay, rooms were old fashioned but still clean and cosy. Heating only blew cold air though. Staff were lovely, had very little interaction but were fab when we did "

"We absolutely loved our stay! The manager and all staff were so friendly. The small riches : fresh water (and bottles) on each floor, the business salon with tea and coffee, and the amenities cupboard! The only thing that was needed : a plug in the washroom . Clearly a man designed it - no where to dry your hair .. we had to use the plug for the kettle. "
