"The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). "We enjoyed our stay at the Massanutten Resort. The resort offers many amenities and activities however everything must be purchased separately. I wish they offered an all inclusive option for families. The prices are high, but I guess that's as expected for a four seasons resort. The indoor waterpark was awesome! "We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!"

"We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens."

The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. "My family and the grandparents all had a nice stay at this location. Nice location just outside of Harrisonburg, away from the crowds of students/parents on a very busy weekend, Stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. Used the big kitchen table to play cards and enjoyed the hot tub on our last night. Thanks!"

"Ample room for a large group. The patio was beautiful and we spent most of our time outside. If you plan to be outside and enjoy a firepit, I would ask for extra gas tanks. You will need to bring cups for coffee, as there are only a few provided and they are not in the best shape. There are no serving dishes, so bring your own (bowls/platters)."

The lodge was beautifully appointed, with board games, a well-equipped kitchen, TVs and video games, and a hot tub. There were many minor-but-thoughtful touches throughout, too. Overall it was the perfect location for a restful retreat and reconnecting friends."
