Fun mountain getaway

Family Mountain trip

This is the second year staying at this house. It fists our family perfectly. Michelle has been a wonderful host, responds immediately, and has thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay even more enjoyable.

We LOVED this home!!! We stayed with two other families for our annual trip to the mountains'. The house was very clean, stocked with all the appliances & spices you may need, as well as towels and linens so we did not have to pack them. We enjoyed is so much!

Great location to enjoy the Shenandoah Valley

My friends and I stayed here as part of a hiking trip. Property is well-located to enjoy all the valley has to offer with easy access to Harrisonburg and Charlottesville. The property was well-maintained and offers a lot of space and amenities to help relax while there. Michelle (the host) was very responsive during our trip when questions arose. Already thinking about future trips back to the area and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Place to Connect with Friends and Family

From booking through checkout, the communication was fantastic. The property was exactly as described. We all had our own space, but all of the space we needed to hang out, play games, and cook in the wonderfully stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

Restful Retreat

We stayed here with our children, our friends, and their children over spring break. The lodge was beautifully appointed, with board games, a well-equipped kitchen, TVs and video games, and a hot tub. There were many minor-but-thoughtful touches throughout, too. Overall it was the perfect location for a restful retreat and reconnecting friends.

We booked a place for my cousin's bachelor party, somewhere in the forest that is quiet and remote. The location was ideal for our various outdoor activities and provided a comfortable stay for our group. The host was very quick to communicate with and fantastic.

Amazing week in the mountains

My family stayed at Michelle’s mountain home for a week over the New Year holiday and had an amazing time. The house had modern amenities while maintaining a rustic mountain ambience. My kids loved the bunk beds and toys/games provided by the host. Beautiful views from the crow’s nest above the master suite. The location was convenient for going to all the activities in Massanutten resort. We would love to stay here again!

Relaxing Weekend

Enjoyed our stay as the home is nicely located in the woods and within driving distance from various parks including Shenandoah National Park. Well stocked and we loved the welcome package. An air fryer will make the kitchen complete.

Awesome house!

8 adults and 4 children enjoyed this house. It had everything we needed to enjoy 4 days of hiking and being together. Owner was great to work with and easy. Even had a jacuzzi which some of us enjoyed. Loved the house! Would definitely rent again.

Winter family getaway

My husband and I gave this mountain getaway as part of the grandkids Christmas present. Perfect house for our family of 6 adults and 5 kids. Several nice amenities such as linens and towels and tp and paper towels provided. The hot tub was wonderful as well. The owner responded with questions immediately and has thought of several things to equip the house with. Thank you!

First , Michelle the host is incredible!. The communication is flawless and fast. The house had everything we needed and then some. It was really nice to have two sets of laundry machines for each floor and the kitchen that was fully stocked! The house is well. Kept, clean, well equipped. Long weekend

In the area for a nephew's wedding. This home worked well for 8 adult family members to spend time together! The deck is a great place for breakfast with birds singing and beautiful trees. We rode the ski lift and played miniature golf - both just an 8 minute drive from the house. The master bedroom is great for people who want sun in the morning and lower level bedrooms for those who want it dark! Pictures are accurate to this beautiful home!!
