"I stayed three nights at this property -- two nights "going" and one night "coming" -- after hopping off I-81 when traveling between northwestern and southwestern Virginia. I had two standard-sized poodles with me, plus was hauling a UHaul trailer. What I loved: (1) location easy to access from the interstate, yet far enough away to muffle traffic sounds; (2) trees, grass, plantings all around the property, offering a country-stay feel; (3) lots of mowed areas for walking my dogs, along with a handy dispenser for dog-poop bags, though I did need to provide my own bags; (4) motel-type arrangement made it easy to unload my vehicle right by my room door; (5) plenty of turning & parking space for my car & trailer; (6) largish outdoor swimming pool with the privacy of a wall and plantings, making a dip in the water a pleasure; (7) lovely playground for kids in natural setting, giving me incentive to come here with my grandchildren; (8) QUIET, comfortable room with a largish mini-fridge & microwave and plenty of granite-covered counter space; (9) budget-friendly price, with reasonable fee charged for my dogs; (10) option of a delicious, cook-prepared buffet breakfast in the on-site restaurant, for an additional price. I'll be returning for sure!"

"When we arrived shortly after 3 for our check in everything at check in was going good. Given our keys to the room then get upstairs to Our room which wasn’t ready. The cleaning lady didn’t seem to speak much English but understood well enough to tell me what I already knew she wasn’t done cleaning the whole floor. As I go down stairs I am met at elevator to see Julie the nice lady that checked us in about to bring me new keys to a different room. After such a long drive it was just sad to see that the hotel didn’t have the room originally supposed to be for us ready. The breakfast wasn’t very good. I don’t know about other people but I don’t like microwave eggs . So we only had breakfast there one day."

Location was very easy and convenient off I81, staff was very welcoming and friendly even when checking in at almost 11pm! Included breakfast is very nice although the breakfast area wasn’t the cleanest but was not bad considering."
