"We had a lovely stay at the Old Schoolhouse. Our room and bathroom were spacious. Our hosts had homemade treats for us each day (an oatmeal raisin cookie our first day and a piece of spice cake the next). Our breakfast was at a large table with the other guests. We loved talking to them, several of whom were walking the length of Hadrian's wall. The breakfast itself was delicious and generous. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Room was clean and tidy on arrival Staff went above and beyond very helpful nothing was to much Breakfast was amazing lots of choice whatever your taste and all the food that came out looked good liked the fact juice and pasties where available as well as tea/ coffee and toast. We took our dog and again the staff order water and happily gave him a sausage for his breakfast. A lovely hotel in centre of Britain definitely worth a stop over"

Breakfast was also good, the food we ate in the restraunt and at the wedding function was also good. The only complaints I would have is the bathroom had quite a bit of black mold and the room was probably due a bit of redecoration- probably down to the use it gets as it's a very busy place... That all aside we enjoyed our stay- the bartender who worked the wedding we attended was top notch too"
