Queens hotel treat you like royalty.

Nothing bad to say. From minute we entered until the time we left. Staff very friendly, food excellent. Are a bit challenging but it is an old building.

Lovely pub with open fire was very welcoming and food (evening meal and breakfast) was brilliant. Our room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Very dog friendly with bowls ready and waiting in the room if needed.

Overnight stay for 1!

Really welcoming reception and friendly staff. The room was clean with good facilities and a really comfy bed! Evening meal in the bar was excellent. Full English breakfast cooked to order was also great. Highly recommend staying here.

Smashing hotel with great service and food. The bar area is a little tired and my room was a little cold but I enjoyed my nights stay and would book again.

Wonderful

A lovely, clean place to stay. Had an evening meal which was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked proper food. Hats off to the chefs. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, but not hovering all the time. I would definitely recommend The Queens to stay and/or eat.

Spent 2 nights at the Queens. It’s a small pub/hotel with 5 rooms. The rooms were comfortable nicely decorated and clean. The restaurant was comfortable and food was good. The pub had a nice wood fire and the staff were very friendly.

Great value for money

The pub was lovely and served great food and drink options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit fairly basic and in need of modernisation, but certainly no complaints given the room rate. The pub offers great value for money and is dog friendly. We used it as a stop of travelling south from Scotland and we will likely return.
