The location is perfect for the places we went to. Walking distance to Coors field, Civic Center near the capital & civic park and 16th street mall and the union station. When we arrived , we were greeted with great hospitality and informed their a/c is centralized, so not able to adjust the room temp. The room was cleaned, but could use a good touch up on the walls, the wall paper was coming undone in a few spots. We did ask for a fan, in which 1 was provided. The down fall is, we stayed there for 3 nights and had no hot water. Well.. Luke warm for the 2nd night for a brief time but gone once the neighboring room flushed. We informed every time we went down stairs. The 1st 3 hostess tried to get it resolved so maintenance kept coming up. But still not hot. We tried to get a different room but told there was no extra rooms and some other guest we talked to, allso had no hot water. I did notice that it was someone different at tye desk every time we went to the lobby, even when it was an hour later. The breakfast was decent, loved the fresh ground coffee machine. Overall, I think we would give another chance due the lication for a 1 night. Unless the water is fixed and would have liked to make the room a cooler. But ok.

This was our first visit to Denver and was glad we chose to stay downtown. The hotel is located on 16th street so we only had to cross the street to use the free bus service to restaurants and shops. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was quite large with plenty of room. The hotel was nice and all the staff very pleasant and helpful. There is a coffee shop attached to the hotel that we could get coffee and warm croissants in the morning. We did wish that there would have been a full service restaurant to get perhaps a different breakfast in the morning, but there was a breakfast restaurant only one block away. The hotel seems to be fairly well maintained and we were pleased with our stay.

I’ve stayed at a Hyatt Centric in downtown Boston last Summer. So it was an easy decision when the downtown Denver Hyatt Centric came up on my travel app. The price in Denver was considerably less than in Boston. So it was a great opportunity to enjoy Hyatt Centric’s vibe again. The hotel’s entry facade is very modern, clean and elegant. As an architect I appreciate the attention to detail and atmosphere. The shower had a nonslip floor… I have slipped in many hotel tubs and showers. The black and white color palette in the bathroom. I loved the edge lit mirror with the LED clock bottom right… At night, the mirror seemed to know when I entered the dark bathroom, and brighten slightly still showing the time. The linens and towels were super. Plush white towels made drying off a pleasure. I would recommend this Denver hotel and the Hyatt Centric Hotels which ever city you’re visiting. DML
