Typical Albaicin house ideal for a city break in Granada
We stayed here during end May to visit family. We are familiar with the city and found this was a very decent place to stay. Though a little out of the way on the fringes of the Albaicin, the property is nonetheless very accessible for wandering around the Albaicin itself, and the rest of the city lower down can be accessed by either walking or using the buses that continuously circulate around Albaicin and the city - with a bus stop just metres away from the house. There are food shops and cafes within approx 5 minutes away. The views from the terrace are really fabulous we saw some lovely sunsets across the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. As there is a preschool close by it was quite noisy in the mornings during the week. There are also quite alot of stairs in the property and as we were always eating outside in the patio we were up and down alot, especially as the lounge/dining space indoors is quite small. However, if your plan is to be out and about alot this does make a good base for exploring the city.
