Four Seasons in Granada

"Close to the city center, shops and restaurants. Very clean."

"Hotel well situated. However Room while spacious, bathroom though quite large, did not contain the sink which was opposite bathroom and in the area outside bathroom opposite the bed. Albeit while sink was in an alcove one had to stand opposite bed and bathroom to use. Added irritation - nowhere to hang the hand towels adding to the irritation that if one got up in-the night the other person-was disturbed. Despite a long cadenza on one side of room (on one side of bed) there was hardly room to store essential toiletries by sink for one person (we were 2) before the conundrum of trying to store a hand towel at the sink area. We had to drape one over hairdryer other over shaving mirror and by this method the soap dispenser was not accessible as behind mirror and also wall mounted. (Under the sink was plenty of room for both a cube shelf and towel rail??!! ) and the bathroom was absolutely adequate to house a sink, at least in theory, though plumbing needed. While we coped, it was one night and we arrived latish- after 6.30pm, the room facilities’ ergonomics for two were therefore very unfriendly. Finally we booked a long time ago and asked for two singles as we are two singles, we had only one duvet, on one mattress. "

"Our stay was only 2 nights and 1 full day. The staff were great and very helpful. This place is a very interesting place to stay and I slept great despite some noisy neighbor drunk ugly crying for a couple hours. I'm pretty understanding when it comes to living in a repurposed older establishment so I don't generally think it's fair to knock it for its old home characteristics (hearing toilets flush and noisy floors) but room and bathroom configuration could have been thought out a little better. I'm not sure the remodeling plans were super well designed. Shower doors only covered just under half the length of tub so water running off your elbows goes right on the floor in front of the toilet, tub space is too small for a taller person. I'm 6'1 and my head was very close to the ceiling in the tub area. At some point I got a minor whiff of sewer gas in the bathroom (don't ask me how I know what it was). That generally is a sign that the plumbing is either incorrectly designed or there is a failure somewhere. This however was not much of a problem because the smell went away very quickly and was only in the bathroom. Regardless I had a good experience and was comfortable. Location was great, room was clean, ac worked well and we slept great! Which is why I still think it deserves 4 stars. Bathrooms could use some work though."
