"I adore The Congress Plaza Hotel. The property is a historical monumental hotel in a prime location, making it easily walkable to enjoy all of the sightseeing Chicago has to offer. In which, there is plenty. The staff friendly, highly effective, and make you feel seen and heard as a guest. Specifically, Steve, the bellman. He knows who is entering and leaving the building. Which always makes me feel safe a solo traveler. Additionally, he offers great insight in regard, to the "whats happening" around the city. The restaraunts and bar staff are equally as great. You are bound to make a pal, while engahing in great conversation with other tourist and locals. Ruiz the hotel manger is super attentive. She goes beyond great measure to ensure that your needs are meet. It's always a great pleasure staying here. In fact, I never want to leave. The view of the sunrise and sunset over looking lake Michigan wpuld make any guest want to stay a little bit longer.Thank you to all of the staff for making every visit pleasurable. "

"This hotel fits a perfect need. I have children & grandchildren closeby. I can visit my Kids & Grandkids, (after a delicious extensive breakfast,) come back to a wonderful clean room, work out in the mornings at the spacious & well equipped gym, and if I need a little light relief, head to the Bar/Restaurant/Rooftop Bar in the evening. I cant think of a hotel that has all these well maintained categories so close to downtown. Will stay here often."

"The apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy. It was nice to have the parking spot, though it is a little tight if you have a large vehicle. Regardless, I was able to park our minivan in the spot. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Really neat eclectic B&B in midtown Chicago. Very friendly and accessible staff, very clean, and quiet. Breakfast is usual fare but preparation and ingredients are excellent. I do wish they had breakfast potatoes as an option on their menu though. Bed is very comfy but room and BR are a little cramped. "

"The room was beautifully decorated and clean. The staff were extremely courteous. The continental breakfast somewhat adequate. Did not appreciate the paper thin walls as we could hear other guests talking/laughing loudly till 1:15 am, snoring loudly and slamming doors. Although there were earplugs in the room, they did not dim the noise. The heater (overseeing the bed) blasted hot air on top of us throughout the night very uncomfortable. The directions for its use were somewhat difficult to follow. Thank you for allowing the constructive feedback. "
