8/10 Good
"I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily stay here again. The standout was definitely the staff, they were absolutely incredible. I genuinely couldn’t rate them highly enough. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and they really went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The venue itself has a lovely atmosphere with great vibes, and I really enjoyed the Wednesday night trivia. The food was also excellent. There are just a few areas that could be improved. As someone with a dairy allergy, I found the menu could cater a little better for people with food allergies, and it would be great if some plant-based milk options were kept on hand. The bed was a little firmer than my preference, and the rooms could benefit from improved soundproofing. There was no noise travel from the bar downstairs at all, which was great. However, because the room doors don’t block much sound, I was woken around 6:00 am by someone simply using the upstairs communal kitchen. That said, I think with a bit more soundproofing, more comfortable mattresses and some plant-based milk available, this would be close to a perfect stay. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, especially considering the location. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to others."
