"Mango House is a great place to stay within the Fort at Galle. Property is at a premium in this area so the room was smaller and more expensive than others on our holiday in Sri Lanka. "Located within the fort, the hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key attractions. The property is fairly basic but clean, and the included breakfast was decent. We were unfortunate to experience a power outage one morning, but it wasn’t a major inconvenience as we were heading out for the day anyway. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay."

"This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing. "
