"Clean and big room. I booked a room with no Mount Fuji view but was surprised in the morning when I opened the window and Mt Fuji was there to see and what a view it was. Staff were very helpful and respectful. Onsen was free to use."

"Stayed her for two nights as a stop on our first trip to Japan and it far exceeded my expectations! The hotel is absolutely beautiful- right in the lush mountainside with incredible views. The staff are so hospitable, making sure you have everything you need. The room was perfect, with modern amenities and traditional charm. And the Onsen! My goodness both are incredible- and I love that they alternate between men/women so you can enjoy each on alternate days. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options for all appetites. We also added on dinner at the annex; a bit pricey, but a very nice experience. Overall, had a wonderful stay and highly recommend! "

"Amazing, the best place I have stayed EVER. The cost of the stay is worth the value. The check-in was seamless, the staff was so friendly and amicable. The souvenir shop gifts were diverse and unique. The dinner, breakfast and drum show was top-notch. The onsens were huge and gorgeous. The hotel is HUGE, I felt at times I had the hotel to myself at times. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Mt. Fuji"

"5 of us stayed here for 5 nights and we absolutely enjoyed our time here! First of all, we would like to give a big thanks to all of the service staff. They have been nothing but great! Most of them speak simple english and even when they did not understand, they had a translator phone to communicate with us. There was this one time we had to contact our car rental company to request for extension. Instead of lending us the phone, the service staff actually went the extra mile and helped us in translating our query to the car rental company! We were so thankful for him and I regret not asking for his name. As for the villa itself, it was great! Nicely decorated and clean. We went during Spring so the temperature did drop to about 2-5 degrees in the morning/night. But the villa was comfortable as the A/C has both cooling and warmth function. Everything was well provided, from toiletries, towels, robes to cutleries, pans, microwave, bbq related stuff etc. There is no washing machine though, so we had to drive out to the laundromat (about 10mins away?). And the most important part, it has the perfect unblocked view of Mt Fuji! Location was ok, if you are not driving, it is about 10-15mins walk to the nearest 7-11 / restaurant. It is best to drive in Fuji in my opinion. We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to those who are still deciding on this place.. JUST BOOK IT!"

"This is a great place for stay in Hakone, traditional Japanese onsen house, we ordered the room and board for two nights, and it's a great experience. Both the public and private onsens are great and we have tried both. The location is also quite convenient, could walk to the Kowakidani station, both bus and train. Their hotel service is also great, family style, from the moment you entered, there is no need to wear shoes, because the whole hotel is connected in a way that you could either by bare foot or their sandals."
