"Very traditional Japanese home. We were impressed with the decor and stunning view of Mt Fuji from upstairs rooms. We were unable to get a response for owner/mgr in regards to questions we had. We were able to get into the home following instructions sent via email, but we couldn't get the key to lock the home when we left. Also, there wasn't enough bedding provided for the amount of people we paid for. But we enjoyed ourselves and had a marvelously clear day for viewing Fujisan from the lake...

"Electricity was interrupted regularly causing frequent blackouts, around 10 minutes intervals. It was inconvenient to take showers because the electric heater was not consistent. Tried to call owner but failed. Everything else was in good condition. Parking location was good, directly in front of the house. "

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"We loved our stay at Fuji Lake hotel. The room was spacious and offered an amazing view of the lake. We even went to the observation deck in the morning to see Mt. Fuji! The breakfast was amazing and provided a variety of food options, and all the staff were so kind and helpful. The hotel is also in a great location and walking distance to some of the restaurants near the lake. I would definitely stay here again!"
