"Hotel room was amazing with all sorts of bells and whistles (hot tub, lighting adjustments). It was also big! The outside of the hotel looked a little rough and public transportation is limited."
"This is an amazing gem of a hotel. It is extremely chic. The staff are so friendly and the food and booze are next level. Not for kids this is really a couples hotel. "
"It was in the mountains and the surrounding environment was beautiful. However, there was little options for food and it was quite far from other food options.
The onsen was the highlight!
The room had a musty smell in it but the view from our room was incredible."
"Gorgeous! So serene and feels rural even though its steps from the cable car stop. The room was really large, and of course the main attraction is the private on-porch onsen. I made the most of the hot spring, and I couldn’t get over the view from the dining room! Great place to unwind for 1-2 days on your trip, just like a spa—hang out in the onsen, enjoy the multi-course meals, and if you do feel like leaving, walk a few steps down the road to the Hakone ropeway and see if you can get a...
"If I can sum it up in one word…. ‘Wow!’ This hotel was amazing. I booked a Japanese style room on the upper floor of the west wing with a private onsen. The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable beds. Sitting in the onsen and having a ‘cold drink’ with the views was amazing. The hotel staff was excellent on check- in and check-out. Dinner and breakfast service was also excellent."

"We wish we could have stayed longer. What a beautiful hotel. The food was great and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The pyjamas and beds are also really comfy. We will be back. Arigato gozaimashita! "
"Very close to amenities, central Gotemba shopping area and train station with views of Mt Fuji from your window.
Perfect for hikers as there is a direct bus from Shinjuku within easy walking distance "
"The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a hike up Mt Fuji scheduled, and they did everything they could to help call + reserve taxi’s, provide early dinner, etc. Everyone was incredibly nice. And the property itself is beautiful!! "
