"Staff friendly at check in, room clean and bed comfortable. Air-conditioning in room. Plenty free parking. Breakfast was good, lots of choice (extra charge) Lots of shops nearby."

"Carol and her team give amazing service... a good ole fashioned B & B where service and care are second to none. From the extra delights in the room, including biscuits and chocolate with numerous tea and coffee choices, to the towels, with flannel, and a breakfast menu which is extensive and means 'no lunch required'. Carol is an absolute gem too taking interest. Great stay."

"Expedia did not relay my original request for a twin-bedded room (we were two elderly ladies) and we were allocated VERY SMALL double bed which was totally unacceptable. Fortunately the hotel were eventually able to arrange a twin-bedded room by splitting a king size bed into two sections and the situation was resolved. BUT it could have spoiled our holiday had a solution not been found (the hotel was fully booked)."

"I’ve just returned from this lovely place . Lovely staff and so friendly. Thanks Debbie Room was clean and spotless me and my nephew ate at the restaurant and must say what lovely food Plenty to choose from Danielle was serving and what a lovely person she is to. Also, there’s a beer garden which had the lovely weather for it to sit in. Definitely recommend this place if your local to Thorpe le soken And definitely would return if need be. Thankyou Malcolm b"

"Nice old style hotel overlooking the sea. Friendly staff and room I stayed in was very spacious. Room although beautiful view looking out towards the sea and big bathroom and plenty of storage, there was a smell of stale smoke which wasn’t a major issue just didn’t smell fresh in the room! Hotel offers breakfast and there is a bar but the ‘Famous’ Fish and Chips restaurant has long gone. Less than 5 mins walk to pier and other restaurants. Being an old hotel noisy upstairs above room when people walking about however you in a hotel so this is to be expected! Would recommend you check this hotel out as price very resonable for what you got and location."
