"Room was perfect, good size and a large bed, Service was amazing throughout but the restaurant staff stood out as very friendly and chatty with greatr service and happy at their work. great place to stay and will return."

"We stayed for 1 night at this gem of a place! We arrived quite late but managed to get into the restaurant just before they finished serving. The food was outstanding! Not an extensive menu. A few pub classics such as fish and chips. I had an open fish pie which was delicious. We had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good. We did say it was a shame we didnt live nearer as we'd definitely return for a meal. The rooms were recently modernised we were told and were lovely! A good size too and clean. A nice touch was to have a little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge to have with our tea and coffee instead of the usual longlife! This pub deserves to do well as they've put alot of effort into it and it shows!"
