"All the staff were friendly and super helpful. The resident pianist Alan was just fab. He was not only good but made you feel very welcome and spoke personally and passionately about the songs he was playing and gave some history behind them. He played all types of music and even asked the type of music we liked etc so he could play some for us. It was a pleasure to sit and listen to him. Our room was large and very comfortable and having the balcony that wrapped around made the views even better. They could do with a bit of TLC but not so much that it took away how nice they were. We are already planning to revisit but for a little longer as we were only on a stop over before travelling down to Kent. The staff really are an asset. "

"The New England was a lovely hotel, close to local amenities. The hotel was so beautiful with a cosy lounge which was decorated with lovely decor and furniture. The superior room we had was excellent in every way. The balcony had a lovely sea view. Good supply of tea's coffee etc. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. The host Audrey was a lovely lady who greeted us when we arrived. Audrey showed us to our room, and even brought us tea. Audrey was so friendly and proffessional. Breakfasts were amazing, using the best ingredients. Cooked to order. Overall are stay was the best. If we could move this amazing hotel to anywhere we wished to stay would be great. Would love to thank Audrey for making our stay memorable .
