"The hotel is an older building but very clean and well maintained. The staff at the Lansdowne were superb, all of them. The receptionist was welcoming, the bar staff were friendly and chatty. The restaurant crew were accommodating and professional. On arrival the room was not setup for four, an immediate apology and within 10 minutes the additional bed arrived and made up with care. The hotel has a free pool table that our boys loved. "

"The Burlington hotel Eastbourne ,is the most underated hotel in Eastbourne ,yes its a bit older and tired in places,but that is the charm of this establishment, the staff are the best in town ,i have been fortunate to have stayed at most of the hotels in e hotels in Eastbourne,and this is by far the most accommodating "

"Was good to upgrade the room for a beach side-on very. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included and was very filling. We ate in the restuarant the first night and had great food. Would recommend the steak! Staff were very friendly. Also used the outdoor and indoor pools. They were nicely appointed and the outdoor pool was larger enough to feel that you were getting some excercise done, not just messing about in the water. Being on the sea front with the beach nearby and also the town and theatres with in easy walk meant the hotel was in a good location."

"Ahmed was so helpful and friendly. Took us to our two beautiful, spotless double rooms with breathtaking views of the sea! Lovely comfortable beds,nice showers in both rooms.Tea and coffee available in our rooms.Alltogether,a lovely stay and we will go back soon.Thankyou so much! X"
