Lovely short break

The cottage was perfect for a weekend away in a great location with easy access to the coast and countryside. The cottage was clean and comfortable with enough space for 4 adults. Jo the host was especially helpful and communication between us was excellent. I would recommend this accommodation and hope to stay there again in the future.

Josephine was fantastic to deal with, replied back quickly with any questions we had. The coach house was clean, and comfortable and a beautiful quiet location. Must have a car if you are staying at this location, but easy drives to some wonderful and scenic areas. Hoping to get back to this area one day and would use the coach house as our home base again. Another wonderful stay in The Coach House. From first contact with Jo, the host, you know your stay will be an effortless and enjoyable experience. The Coach House is exactly as in the pictures, a beautiful building with lots of original features and decorated and equipped to a very high standard. No detail is overlooked, from the welcoming basket of biscuits, the tea, coffee and even a pint of milk. Lovely quality bedding and towels. Games, books and a smart TV. A folder of all the information you could possibly need about the house and surrounding area. Highly recommended…

What a joy it was to stay here. The host was super helpful and the property was even better than advertised. Amazing instructions and just everything you need for a short stay. It’s the little things that count and this had it all. Perfect for a small family and in some stunning countryside. We had a snow fall which made it look even more fairytale. We had a lovely stay at the Coach House, relaxing, beautiful setting, clean and comfortable. Ideal for visiting Brighton and Eastbourne, not far from the train station. It looks like there are some lovely walk, not that we had time on this visit.

I can quite honestly say it’s one of the best cottages we have had the pleasure of staying at. It’s well equipped with everything you would need with lots of helpful recommendations in the guest book. Also a good base camp for exploring a lot of the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

Lovely base

We had such a wonderful time at the coach house - we used it as the base for my wedding day prep. It’s the perfect amount of space for a large bridal party to spread out and shower if they need, with lots of towels, great light and super comfy beds. The little garden is a gorgeous little sun trap - great for photos! It’s easy to find as well, and handy if you have more people staying at the sister listing, Drockmill. Would definitely stay again - not just for the reasons above, but particularly as we misplaced the key briefly and Jo was so wonderful about it.

A beautiful farm property in a stunning location

We had the best time staying at the farm. The property was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed and the farm was a beautiful setting. We enjoyed watching the sunset, seeing the rabbits running around and exploring the local area. The information left in the house was great for finding things to do and places to go. We needed a place to stay for our son's wedding nearby, and this was the perfect location. The house was spacious, clean and very well equipped, although we did spend little time in it! The beds were extremely comfortable. Jo was very accommodating in allowing extra cars to be parked on the Saturday morning, when the groomsmen arrived to get changed and also the wedding photographers. It would be a lovely place to stay for a relaxing holiday, and we may return in the summer months for just that purpose.
