Wonderful Location, and European Style

Was a wonderful location, room, and stay! Owner was very nice, and helpful. Room was outstanding, and worked great. It may not be the nicest and most brand new accommodations on the planet, but it was beautiful and worked well! I will stay here again when I get the chance!

The service was very good. Everyting We needed we got. The location was excellent. In the middle of everything. The hotel felt like an old apartment and that felt like it suited Florens. The bed was comfortable. No tv, but that was ok. We had our own bathroom which felt good. It is a very simple hotel. We would live there again of we go back.

Fantastic location,clean,typical Florence hotel

Really traditional Florence hotel, really wanted to stay in a traditional hotel and was not disappointed hence the good review, host was friendly, room was clean and decor was relevant to when it was built, FANTASTIC LOCATION don't expect modern then leave a bad review

Stay away very gross property they do not replace their bedsheets and the mattresses are gross all stained it's in a very noisy location all night long people are screaming , playing drums, not a good place to stay I could not find any place to get away at the last minute stay. warning it's very very dirty not worth it. Rating .000

Excelente ubicación, la mejor, el personal de recepción súper amable, solo los muebles son viejos digamos que tiene un estilo muy vintage, es una casa antigua y el elevador es para una persona pero también súper antiguo. Fue una experiencia divertida lo del elevador, que además súper necesario por qué son varios pisos que se tiene que subir.

Diese Unterkunft sollte nicht als Hotel bezeichnet werden. Inventar veraltet und schmutzig, Gemeinschaftsdusche und WC nicht zeitgemäß bzw zt. defekt, Uralt-Aufzug ebenfalls defekt. Das zeitweise anwesende Personal war aber sehr freundlich. Entweder ein paar Euros mehr als ausgeben oder zentrumsferner wohnen (mein Tipp)

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist fantastisch, mit Blick auf den Dom. Wir konnten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof zur Unterkunft laufen. Der Name Hotel ist maßlos übertrieben, da es sich um eine ehemalig hochherrschaftliche Wohnung mit 8 Gästezimmern und 3 Bädern handelt. Zum Tor kommt man mit einem vorab gesendeten Türcode herein. Der Fahrstuhl ist so groß , wie ein Speiselift, 1m x1 m, für 150 kg geeicht, immerhin, man muss den Koffer nicht in die hohen 2 Etage schleppen. Für die Eingangstür gibt es wieder einen Türcode. Das Rezeptionszimmer war nicht besetzt, es war Sonntagabend, der Zimmerschlüssel war hinterlegt. Das Zimmer war sehr beeindruckend groß, mit dem Charme der alten Zeit, knarrendes Echtholzparkett, faszinierende alte Wandmalereien und altem Möbel, allerdings alles in einem vernachlässigtem Zustand. Das Bett war groß und sehr bequem. Die Aussicht ist einfach überwältigend, auf den Battistero und den Dom von Florenz, also mittendrinn. Man hat abends einen Logenplatz , den Trubel auf dem Platz zu beobachten. Wir benutzten ein Duschbad ganz privat mit Schlüssel, sehr schmal, aber total in Ordnung. Wir haben auch den Chef getroffen, sehr nett und sehr höflich, bei ihm haben wir dann auch gezahlt. Am Abreisetag durften wir das Gepäck noch unterstellen, vielen Dank dafür. Wer keinen Luxus braucht und mittendrinn sein möchte, für einen moderaten Preis , ist hier sehr gut untergebracht. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank !

Lousy mattress

Kind of uncomfortable. Broken tile everywhere and be aware that the bathrooms are communal and not attached to the rooms. Probably wont stay here again. However, the hotel is very centrally located in Florence and is walking distance from some of the most popular attractions.

I like the location but the property is outdated. I didn't know there is no wifi in my room. I have to come out of my room and sit on a beat up leather sofa with the 2 rooms across from the sofa. Also I didn't realize that I had to share a small shower with other guests. The elevator is super small. You can't fit any suitcase inside it. I barely can fir in there alone. No coffee maker, TV and most importantly WiFi in the room.

We will stay here again .. it was a Wonderfull room with view of Florence cathedral. It’s shared bathroom but never had to wait in Que. easy walking distance from train station. I will recommend this place for family with kids too .

La ubicación es muy céntrica, excelente, muy cerca de la estación de trenes y de las principales atracciones, desde nuestra habitación teníamos muy buena vista pero, puede ser un poco ruidoso en la noche y temprano en la mañana, para nosotros no fue problema pues regresábamos tarde y salíamos temprano.

This hotel is at a perfect location right in front of the Duomo. And even though it’s noisy outside, once you close the wooden shutter, you do not hear anything. Humberto and Alessandro are awesome. One of the cleaning person is not so friendly. He seemed to be bothered my me asking him a question.

Probably the best location of any hotel ever!

Make no mistake this is a very basic hotel. Very basic. And we loved it! There was an aircon unit, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom had recently tiled and fitted out with a modern suite. The room itself was very clean and large with lots of old furniture and decor that made it totally charming. This place is very well run and we were allowed to leave our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out which allowed us to make the most of our trip without humping luggage around.
