A beautiful, calm oasis in the very heart of Florence. The deluxe room was spacious, stunning and luxurious. Omelettes cooked to order and freshly squeezed orange juice gave an extra dimension to a great breakfast menu.

We loved our stay here!! The staff is incredible and so accommodating, and the breakfast is wonderful. With only 11 rooms, it felt like a very personal and special stay. It’s very centrally located as well, and super walkable!

The property is on a main walking avenue where car traffic is restricted. A wonderful area close to the center of Florence, and access to great dining shopping and OF COURSE, MAGNIFICENT ART FROM THE RENAISSANCE.

This is a amazing hotel in the heart of Florence. Rooms are so elegant and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a huge selection- fresh eggs and juice. I is five star hotel!

We spent four delightful nights at Corte Calzaiuoli and would highly recommend it. The room was beautifully appointed with plenty of space and a dramatic en-suite. Although looking over the busy Via Calzaiuoli the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was delicious with juices and eggs to order and a wide range of sweet and savoury items. Location was superb with all the major sites on the doorstep and easy access to the airport team. We felt looked after for every hour of our stay.

Very bad experience. The place was extremely noisy with no soundproofing at all. No air conditioning in the rooms. Both rooms were right next to the kitchen and breakfast area — impossible to sleep in the morning. Rooms were tiny and uncomfortable. Only good thing was the location.

The good things: location is great and the room was comfy. The bad things: - room noisy. Garden bar right underneath with music loud after midnight.. the staff dared to say this was a “quiet” room when we checked in. It’s everything but. - 750 mL of water for 2 adults per day then 6EUR / bottle (of 750mL). It’s 35 degrees Celsius right now. There is no water fountain in the hotel. The staff suggested we get water outside of the hotel at 9pm. - breakfast closes at 10.30. We came at 10 the first day, the staff told us: “we re sorry there isn’t much left, people came earlier”. We still got food but it was so weird and we had limited options. - we arrived early (9am), the staff kindly offered to prepare our room (since the previous guests had already left) for early check-in and told us to come back before noon. We got back at 11.15am and adjusted our plans thinking we could take a shower and rest a bit in the room. The room wasn’t ready until 12.30. It took forever to get it ready. The intention was kind the execution and the coordination appalling. We wasted our time in the breakfast room waiting… Honestly if you just want something convenient it works. It is way below par for anything else at this price range.

Great location

A lovely room and a great location! The hotel helped us with parking for the car but drivning in Firenze is nothing I recommend. The bathroom had double showers and sinks, that was great. A bit hard to understand where the hotel was located, both because there is a hotel nearby with the same name and then because the hotel is in a building but only on some floors!
