"The staff here was absolutely fantastic, especially Lailah! We also met one of the cleaners, who was lovely, as well as a friendly man who came to look at our phone that wasn't working (I also pointed out the cracked shower tiles to him). I've given 5 stars for cleanliness, because this was honestly one of the cleanest apartments we've ever stayed in! My only little gripe was that the ice-cube tray had the remnants of something orange in it. I would strongly recommend this hotel overall! N.B. If you're a light sleeper, just be warned that you can hear the town clock chiming. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and sufficient amenities for our needs. My only issue was that we forgot to ask for a ground floor room, but that's my fault. Overall very happy with our stay."

"Great little stop over for one or two nights. Rooms are clean and well maintained, there is a bar and cafe onsite and many dining and shopping options within 10 min drive. Would recommend."

"While the front of the property is unassuming, the inside is spacious and the view is fantastic. Easy check in, and a nice grassy area behind to string up the hammock and read a book. Only suggestion would be to provide additional door stoppers for the beds as they roll very easily on the tile! Doggo and I had a great time, will certainly use this facility again. "

"We loved our stay at Sascha’s Retreat, Stephen made sure we had all the information we needed, we loved the recommendation to go to the Black Creek Winery just down the road, and loved walking up to the top of hill to have Sunset Drinks, we had the best time"
