Great location in Bright with convenient parking. Check-in was smooth and easy even after reception hours, which was perfect after a late day skiing.
Friendly staff and great facilities, especially the sauna—perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Highly recommended!

We had a very enjoyable at stay Merrimeet Cottages recently. As a couple our cottage suited our purposes perfectly. The property is only a short walk from the town centre and located in a very quit street which backs on to Ovens river, which is great for quick swim in the good weather. Even though the temperatures were in the high 30's, we only need to turn on the air con once for a short while as the cottage stayed very cool.

We loved our stay in our cosy cabin. It as clean and tidy with everything that you needed including electric blankets. It was close to town and the river. I would definitely stay here again, loved it.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Bridge Motel. The managers were very welcoming and helpful with directions around the area. We found the room very well presented and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and just what we needed after a big day of travelling and then returning after A Day on the Green. The cooked breakfast was most enjoyable and a good way to start our day of exploring around the township of Beechworth which has plenty to offer. If we are ever in this area...

Amazing property in a right location, lots of things to do and relax. Kids enjoyed the facilities and “decode hunting”, thanks to the staff to share the interesting gifts.

We had a quick Autumn get away for 4 nights and booked at the last minute and were not disappointed in our choice. The cabins were very comfortable, the kids loved being able to ride around the caravan park on the bikes safely, playing on he giant bouncy pillow and in the park, all is in very good condition. It was so quiet, set 150 metres back from the main road, you could not hear any traffic or anything else for that matter. We will definitely come back again, maybe in summer next time.

Facilities: Above average; Value: Affordable; Service: Flawless; Cleanliness: Spotless;
the dining at the restaurant was fantastic and far better than we had been expecting.

Barrass's John Bright Motor Inn is situated in a quiet street but is only a minute or two's walk to the centre of the pretty town of Bright. We received a friendly welcome from the lady on reception when we arrived. Our group of two couples were given rooms 2 and 3 facing the street and they were modern, very clean and comfortable. Each room had a sink, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave in the kitchenette area, a comfortable bed plus a coffee table and chairs, TV and...

This motel in the beautiful regional town of Beechworth is outstanding. We were in the area for a wedding in Bright, a 45 minute drive away, the following day. Now that we know the quality of this motel we hope to return for an extended stay to explore the area more thoroughly. We were welcomed by Rob, the Owner/Manager, who shared some excellent advice on dining options and places of interest in the town. The motel was as clean and comfortable as I my wife and I have experienced in 40 years. It...

This was our second visit to Bright for the National Mountain Bike Championships but our first stay at Bright on Track. We had a great experience despite one day of heavy rain. Bright on Track is spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern and welcoming. It is a short stroll into town and all of the great restaurants, cafes, pubs. Bright is such a beautiful town.

For an older-looking motel, it was in a very good state of repair. The staff were so lovely and helpful upon checking in and out. It was so close to everything in town too. I would definitely go back again.

The best area to stay in Eurobin is directly within the Eurobin valley itself, offering a tranquil base with easy access to the region's natural beauty and outdoor activities.
Eurobin is a small, relatively spread-out area, characterised by its rural setting, vineyards, and agricultural land, located at the foot of Mount Buffalo. The main street, Great Alpine Road, runs through the valley, connecting various small businesses and accommodation options. It's a peaceful spot, great for those looking to escape the bustle and enjoy the countryside.
Couples looking for a romantic and quiet getaway will find Eurobin particularly appealing. Many accommodations here offer private settings with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, often featuring amenities like hot tubs or private balconies. It's an ideal spot for wine tasting at local vineyards or enjoying scenic walks without the crowds.
Families will also appreciate Eurobin for its relaxed environment and access to outdoor adventures. The proximity to Mount Buffalo National Park means easy day trips for hiking, exploring waterfalls, or enjoying the snow in winter.
When is the best time to go to Eurobin?
The best time to visit Eurobin is during autumn (March to May) for its stunning natural beauty, or spring (September to November) for pleasant weather and outdoor activities.
Autumn in Eurobin is particularly popular for its vibrant display of deciduous trees, especially around the Bright and Harrietville areas, which are just a short drive from Eurobin. The cooler, crisp air is ideal for exploring the numerous walking and cycling trails in the region, such as the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. It's a wonderful time for couples or solo travellers who appreciate scenic landscapes and outdoor adventures without the summer crowds.
Spring offers mild temperatures, great for hiking, fishing in the Ovens River, or visiting local vineyards and farm gates. The wildflowers are in bloom, adding another layer of beauty to the already picturesque surroundings. This season is great for families looking for comfortable weather for outdoor excursions, like exploring Mount Buffalo National Park or enjoying a picnic by the river.
While summer (December to February) can be quite warm, it's peak season for water activities and exploring the high country.
