We stayed at Rydges Bathurst for only one night on the 21/08/15. My wife & I were travelling with 3 teenage boys for soccer the next day. Once the two ladies, at the front desk, understood this they upgraded us to a much larger room without hesitation. They also suggested a great family pub for dinner were the food was excellent & the boys appetites were satisfied. These ladies were so friendly & accommodating. They made us feel so welcomed that we enjoyed our experience & haven't stop telling...

Wonderful team. So thankful that the staff accomodated our family when i had indeed made a booking mistake and come a week earlier than my booking date. Dom looked after us and made us comfortable and so welcome. The facilities were clean and tidy. All that you needed for a family holiday. Our children loved the bunk beds and my elderly parents appreciated the attention to detail with the electric blanket for the night. Thank you again for accomodating us. We will definitely be back.

For couples, the CBD offers a sophisticated base. You're close to a wide array of fine dining establishments, cultural institutions like the Essington Opera House, and the scenic waterfront at Circular Quay. Many hotels here boast stunning harbour views and provide high-end fitness equipment and spa facilities, great for a luxurious getaway.
Solo travellers will also find the CBD an excellent choice. Its central location means you're never far from public transport, making independent exploration simple.

Spring offers similar agreeable weather, with temperatures between 18°C and 28°C, and the landscape is particularly lush with blooming wildflowers. This season is superb for outdoor activities such as kayaking on Lake Essington or enjoying a round of golf at the Essington Golf Club.
