"Great accommodation "

"Lovely, welcoming staff. Very easy to check in at the pub next to the accommodation. Very good location and easy to find. Free parking which is a bonus these days! Stayed for 3 nights in a family room, clean but a little dated. Beds could be more comfortable. Breakfast was nice and has a lovely kids play area. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Room was very cold on arrival, very musty smell throughout the whole building, carpet in the bathroom which seems unhygienic, lots of dead spiders in the window and the room itself wasn't very clean. When I wanted to complain there was nobody around so ended up leaving the key at the desk and driving home "

"Stain on bed sheet pee and tissue in the toilet Room was also freezing cold and took hours to heat up. Curtains didn't meet in the middle. Water for shower wasn't hot at all Won't be staying there again. "

Food left on service counter and not bought out to tables. Breakfast was much more efficient. May have been a bad evening but no real apologies offered. Average budget stay hotel. "

"Staff at check in were not proactive which led me to returning to the front desk three times before accessing my room. The hotel is being renovated, so there is dust and barriers all over the place. There are no USB chargers in the room, or plug sockets near the bed, which is challenging for charging devices. The staff at the bar/restaurant were more interested in doing anything but serving. The swimming pool/changing room was grubby. All in all a very disapointing visit."

"I liked the fact that it’s 24 hrs as always bar o/ front desk staff available. Very friendly . Room large and comfy , asked for extra pillows which were delivered . Easy to stay here and close to station large car park £5 per night"

"A mixed bag: positives: house was clean and the key lock and parking was convenient, and food and drink supplies very welcome. Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) Room was clean and fine, but there was no info, eg that there's an alarm which goes off if you don't latch the kitchen door, who to contact and how I'm case of need. Prior to arrival, a map of the site showing checkin location would be useful. I booked with hotels.com. "The room and furnishing were very dated. I wiped the end tables and the coffee station with a wet wipe as they were quite dusty. The bathtub had rust damage so a bath was out of the question. Shower was fine. The trash cans were not emptied during my stay, the towels not changed. The bed seemed clean though and fairly comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty."
