"Nice breakfast and good hotel.Madd on reception was very good and helpful. Rooms very nice - I found the duvet a bit bulky and heavy, but my wife found it very comfortable. Car park was not free so that was a surprise. "

"Lovely welcome at reception. Room clean and tasteful. Breakfast was great, standard buffet, but can request omelette of choice, and they're massive and wonderfully presented. Staff were great and we weren't pressured to leave. Was interesting to see brown bags available to take things away!! Parking is a short walk away and at a reduced rate £8 for 24 hours is great!! All in all would definitely recommend"

"I've stayed at the Stuart a number of times over the last 20 years and each time, it's slightly less good than the last. To be honest I'm not sure why it's in Best Western's portfolio; I think it needs a proper makeover. My colleague and I didn't eat in the hotel in the evening; the menu was basic and there was no atmosphere. Breakfast was pretty good, to be fair. The room was clean and comfortable, though the shower (room 125) was small and awkward; it didn't have an internal fan, and the door kept closing, which was annoying. All in all the whole place seems 'tired'; it really could be so much better."

"The EV charger in the car park didn’t work properly, and the ones at McDonalds next door were blocked with cones. (We’ve been here before and the chargers are usually okay). "

"Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay here. The property is drab, worn out and not very appealing. The photos give it a clean and modern look but it feels far from that. The furniture cheap and shabby (no glass in the doors on the wardrobe, radiator covers smashed etc), mattresses very poor and bedding cheap. Overall just not a pleasant place to be. So much so we considered just leaving after the first night and going home. The property has been cleaned and the bedding was fresh. As we arrived the Wi-Fi was not working and to be fair to the management company they addressed this very quickly. I had had to chase them for the check in details but I had it that down to it being boxing day. At the price I paid for this property for the 2 nights, I felt a little robbed! "

"Booked this location as we were going to a festival, the manager of the property never got in touch for getting us into the property we were asked to wait until 4pm on the day we were meant to be checking in. 4pm rolls on no contact and told theyd issue a refund. Still havent recieced one had to find new accomodation for 7 people on the day of the festival. Shocking. Will never be using them again. "
