"The hotel is in South Derby convenient for the A52 and about 3 miles to the city centre. Free Parking is on site and is locked overnight. There is a Lidel and Tesco within 200m of the hotel. Checkin was prompt and we were allocated a room at the back as requested which was quiet. The room was quite tight with little storage space no desk, limited surfaces to put anything ,with a double bed that was comfortable enough. The bathroom was bit more spacious but in need of updating. A good sized continental breakfast in the morning with hot croissants, toast and fresh coffee; cooked breakfast was available but as an extra charge. In our opinion this is good 2 Star hotel. "

"What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"

"Check in was efficient Staff were friendly Rooms were clean and functional. Evening restaurant was a disaster 45 min to get and appetizer and customers were not happy. Food left on service counter and not bought out to tables. Breakfast was much more efficient. May have been a bad evening but no real apologies offered. Average budget stay hotel. "

"Stayed here many times over the years as it's convenient for Donington racing circuit. It's not a 5 star hotel, but gives excellent value for money in comfortable surroundings. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from the pub making it a convenient stopover. Plenty of free parking as well. Will definitely be visiting again. About 9 miles from Donington."
