"Fairly clean. The bed linens seemed clean, but the carpet was gross and there was hair ob the bathroom wall behind the towel bar and on the back wall of the shower. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Pillows were good. The while place needs a refresh."

"I usually don’t leave reviews, but this was not a good experience. I was there for one night attending the funeral and burial of a close relative and just wanted to go back to my room and go to sleep and the smell of marijuana in the hallway and seeping in my door was so strong and I informed the staff and they did absolutely nothing about it. Between broken lightbulbs and broken floorboards in my room and broken ice machine on my floor and breakfast that gave me a horribly stomach issue, I will certainly not be staying here again and really wish there was a way to get a refund. "

" We have stayed here in the past and never had any issues; however, this time we were very disappointed with our experience. During our stay, our room was never refreshed or cleaned. We personally asked the front desk twice to have our room cleaned, but no one ever came. At checkout, we voiced our concerns and were told that the manager would call us back, but we are still waiting for that call. As Bonvoy members, we are extremely disappointed with the level of service we received. In addition, we had to repeatedly ask for clean towels, and my husband even found bugs in the room. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we will no longer be staying here when we visit Staten Island."

"Perfect home away from home. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and slept comfortable and there were additional beds if needed. The place was very clean and up to date.We visited Six flags and American Dream mall and they were convenient to get to from this location. I left an item there and the owner even offered to meet me to return it. "

"Worst stay of my life. This place is in the middle of an industrial park, surrounded by businesses. It also had construction going on so the lobby was a construction zone. There was only one person who worked there to deal with all the people. Our room was very cold, my daughter went to the front desk to ask for a couple of extra blankets when the heat failed to warm up the room ( we turned up the thermostat) and came back with one. Said the lady at the desk said she was only allowed to have one blanket. So I put my socks on and my coat over my feet and tried to sleep ( I was too cold) ended up with leg cramps from being too cold all night.We choose this VRBO because the host stated when I asked him about transportation to New York that it was a 5 minute walk to MCDonalds where there was a bus stop to the city. I specifically asked the host if there was a train station or bus station nearby I could park my car at. The only answer he gave me was McDonald’s. Turn’s out McDonald was a 20 min walk along a busy road to get there and a 5 min drive in the car. I figured this out after I wasted money on bus tickets I didn’t use because I couldn’t find McDonald’s the first day. However, a kind person stopped and and told us about the train station in a nearby town which was not even a 20 min drive that we could park at and take the train to Nrw York.It was very noisy , shouting in the halls, drill and tools noiseI would not stay with this host again. "
