Really friendly staff that know what they're doing. Bar has an excellent selection of whisky available . Dining is nice and relaxed with very good food. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but are not 5 star but then neither is the price. Breakfast is freshly made for you and of good quality and well cooked. Would definitely return to stay again.

Booked, to pay on arrival but when I arrived they had already taken payment which I was a little annoyed about as I wanted to use a different card than what I had reserved the room on

I am very sorry and we could have refunded the card given on your booking and used another if you had wished. We only use the cards given on the day of arrival to check they are valid. usually people give the card they wish to use.

Fabulous Sunninghill
Fabulous hotel. Staff was attentive and friendly. Restaurant was fantastic and the bartenders, Alister and Jonathan were incredibly knowledgeable regarding local whiskys and great conversationalists. The room was newly remodeled, super clean and comfortable, with a hot shower with great water pressure and a nice bathtub. Highly recommended if staying in Elgin.

Highly recommend
Friendly helpful staff rooms are good and the meals were fantastic. There's a good selection of whiskies to. May be to good a selection lol.

First time staying in this hotel as my usual for Elgin was fully booked. Hotel was ok but breakfast was swimming in grease, couldn't eat it so left with a bit of toast and orange juice.

Thank you for your review. Sorry you did not enjoy your breakfast but normally as you will see from all our reviews normally most people are very pleased with what we offer. Every breakfast is cooked to order and not pre prepared.

Great dining experience and the staff were excellent. However, the room was a little cramped. En suite was tiny and the sink was in the actual bedroom as not enough room in to accommodate it in the en suite. The room wasn't worth the £106 I paid for it. I was expecting more after checking it out online first..

Comfortable rooms. Nice bar area and good location for the town. Doesn’t do anything outstanding but doesn’t do anything wrong so ideal standard hotel for anyone. Would happily stay again

Nice hotel in nice Scottish town
The hotel was clean and quite modern and the staff were attentive and helpful. I think due to the age of the building the walls seemed to be quite this so i could hear the TV from the adjoining room along with conversations and shouting. Also the room above was occupied and you could clearly hear them moving around. Despite this i enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to other travellers

Best by far!
I stayed at the Sunninghill for a couple of weeks whilst working in the area and I must say I made the right choice. The rooms are spotless, the staff are very friendly and also very attentive. They have the best chef ever!! The food is incredible. I’m coming back to the area due to my love of Speyside whisky and I’ll definitely be staying here.
