"We really enjoyed our stay at Oro. Great facilities, excellent breakfast choice and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Guayaquil is generally unsafe and the area around the hotel is a typical example as to why but the hotel try to ensure that this doesn’t impact on your stay and do this well. I did experience a problem with payment miscommunication during my stay and I feel the staff could have done a little more to assist but that’s a lesson learnt for me. A slight detraction from an otherwise great stay."

"The property is modern and well designed. The staff is professional and kind. Our bags were out of our cab and on a porter’s cart before we got out of the car. The free breakfast is unbelievable, with a lot of tradition Ecuadorian meals such as ceviche, yucca bread and many other dishes. They also have a delicious made to order omelette, gorgeous breads, cheeses, nuts, museli, fruit and so much more. Free airport shuttle. Airport is 3 mins away. You can even get your boarding pass in the Wyndham lobby. Great experience. "
