"We had a nice stay here. We appreciated how quiet it was even with there being two other units. The supply of amenities (paper towel, dish washer tabs, laundry detergent, toilet paper) were all much appreciated. There was an additional supply of blankets as well which was great given that it’s winter time in Michigan. The place heated up nicely. Everything was fairly clean, there were plenty of kitchen items for cooking. It’s a fairly spacious place. The bathroom was a bit small though the...

City Treehouse Loft & Balcony - Old Town Lansing
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"We spent a long weekend in Aura's newest property Vintage Soul. The property was beautiful, a loft above store fronts of a cute artsy block. We traveled with our family of 4 and our dog - upon arrival there was a dog bed, treats, and dishes. For the humans, a workout room as well as a well-appointed bathroom and kitchen. The fridge was stocked with everything we needed to get started including waters, ice cubes, and a fresh vegetable tray. Plants and peonies in vases, the loft smells divine. The...

"My husband and I enjoyed staying at Aura’s property. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and great linens. Lots of small details that make a stay feel a little more special! The only issue we had was the noise from the resturaunt/bar across the street."

"The apartment was just as pictured. It was clean. It felt good. There was a small issue where my book room had some issues. The property manager called me and asked if it would be okay if I checked into a different apartment of course! I said that would be fine and the other apartment was just as well done as the other! The checkout requests are easy and simple in the property manager was prompt to send me all the information I needed for a great one week stay. If I am in the Lansing area again...

"There was a reservation challenge. Communication was excellent. I spoke with a very efficient and friendly Justin and Morgan. They did everything to make it work. We had a great time. Our apartment number 8 looks different. It was very modern with the biggest tv that anyone could dream of. Linens were exceptional. Plenty of parking. If I had to say anything i would recomend an additional towel rack in the bathroom. Thanks for sharing your place."

"Check in was interesting. The owner wasnt aware of the booking, then lied about the room getting a new couch so we couldnt get in until 430 instead of 4. All he did was put a portable A/C unit in the room. This apartment is in an actual apartment building with actual tenants. Very very dirty outside of building and inside and smelled. The apartment itself was not the room we book, did not match any of the photos. It was insanely unclean, floors hasnt been swept or mopped, stove top was dirty,...

"Listing said Glendora ca, we drove 20 hours from Texas for the hosts to tell us the home is in Michigan. The hosts also, before we realized it was the wrong state, said the room was also unavailable and we needed another one. We got left stranded. No managers to speak with. No one offered a solution other than wait for our money and oh well. I will never use this again. The biggest scam."

"While it could have been worse, we were disappointed in our stay. It appeared clean at first, but as we stayed we noticed garbage under the coffee table, cobwebs in the bathroom, and a layer of grease on the kitchen cabinets. The lighting is poor in this basement unit, so it very much felt like you were in a basement. The kitchen was poorly stocked, most cabinets were empty. The wifi worked the first 2 days, but not for the remaining 6 we stayed. We had a very weak response from the owner,...

"It was a great place great location parking was a small issue. Didn’t need to be super clean but the bottom of the fridge and bottom of the garbage cans are very very dirty. Also there was no apron and no aluminum foil or saran wrap I’m not sure maybe we should’ve brought our own. Overall great communication when I asked questions easy access accommodating great place would stay there again"

"Besides the remote needing batteries in the room my children slept in and the showerhead in the basement, everything was nice. No stress. The kids were sad that they couldn’t watch tv. It would’ve been nice if we knew where the AAA batteries were so we could’ve changed it ourselves. We had plenty of space. Rules were simple. Close to Grand River. Would stay again."

"If you’re looking for a weekend getaway for a Michigan State game weekend or need an extended your stay for any reason, rent this property. It is minutes from MSU’s campus in a great neighborhood. The home is quaint but spacious at the same time and a perfect vibe for any Spartan fan. I needed to find somewhere close to campus as I transitioned to the area for work and this provided me everything I needed. The kitchen has every amenity, while the living space and bedrooms are perfect for a...
