While there is parking nearby (do contact property ahead of time if you need to park to get discount) be aware that you are competing for space even temporary parking to drop off luggage. The hotel does not provide dinner service. Make sure to book a restaurant nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I didnt have to use vehicle for entire duration of stay as location was perfect for walking to cathedral and other sights."

"The Leonardo Hotel in Glasgow is conveniently located by the River Clyde. It is next to Glasgow Central train station and 2-3 blocks to shops on Buchanan Street and the St.Enoch subway station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby as well as a small Lidl supermarket. The hotel has a spacious lobby ( with fruit, water and Walkers shortbread available for the taking) with lots of inviting places to sit. We received a complimentary drink at the bar, which is quite nice and has a nice food menu, as well. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Beds were large and comfortable. Windows opened, but rooms had individually controlled heat & A/C. Staff were wonderful and helpful with any request. We found ourselves commenting over and over again what a great place this was . Hands down, we would strongly recommend the Leonardo!"

"The old Customs House by the river has been turned into a pleasant hotel. The room was small but had good facilities and view of the river. Interesting bar and restaurant in the old section. We came by taxi which was fine but not sure how you drop off if driving as on main road. Reasonable value for city centre hotel. It is a little difficult to get in with heavy bags as several small flights of stairs to get to reception and then the lifts."
