Charming Alpine Chalet 'Faithfulls' at Dinner Plain - Pet Friendly

"Charming alpine chalet — perfect for a family snow getaway Faithfulls is a beautifully maintained chalet right in the heart of Dinner Plain village. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival, warm and well equipped with everything a family needs. The fireplace was the highlight — cosy evenings after a big day in the snow. The kids absolutely loved the attic loft with the ladder — it became their favourite spot in the house! The bathroom was lovely with a proper bath tub, and hot water was excellent throughout. The coffee maker with coffee beans supplied was a wonderful touch — perfect for cold alpine mornings ☕ Kitchen was well stocked with good plates and cutlery. The only suggestion would be an upgrade to some of the cooking cookware — pots and pans could do with a refresh. The heating was a lovely bonus keeping the whole chalet warm and comfortable. Bradley was a responsive and thoughtful host with clear instructions for everything including the heaters and WiFi. Linen and towels provided for ski season was a great touch. Location is perfect — walking distance to the shuttle bus and village amenities. Would highly recommend and would love to return"

"Great property, well stocked with amenities, great location, close to everything in town, loved the smart tv, very warm and cosy, especially during snow season, only downside, home was infested with spiderwebs and spiders on ceilings, behind beds and furniture and even had one little guy crawl out from the sink as I was washing the dishes..."

"Had problems with check in. Waited 3 hours until we could get in the property. Otherwise all good. The house is great , clean and cozy, smart designed. The kitchen has everything you need except for a pizza cutter."

"Very good place. Enough room for 6 people. Property was cleand and tidy. Everything was as per the description. Comms was clear. I had two senior citizens who took the ground floor room with queen. Rest were on the 2nd floor which had 4 bunk beds. First floor is the kitchen, dining and lounge which was small but we mostly spent our time outside so was ok for us. 8 to 10 mins walk from the center if you took the road. If you cut across through the walking area / other propeety it would be faster."

"The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and exactly as advertised. The location and facilities were great, and I have no complaints about the property itself.Unfortunately, my experience with the host was disappointing. From the beginning, communication felt unfriendly and at times unnecessarily rude. Simple questions about firewood and parking arrangements were answered in a way that made me feel like I was causing an inconvenience rather than being a paying guest.The check-in process was also frustrating. When I couldn’t locate the door code and contacted the host for assistance, the instructions were rushed and incomplete. I was not told that the # button needed to be pressed after entering the code, which caused unnecessary confusion. When the host arrived, the interaction felt abrupt and unwelcoming rather than helpful.Throughout my stay, I felt that communication was handled with very little patience or hospitality. While the property itself deserves high praise, the attitude and customer service from the host significantly affected the overall experience.I would recommend the house for its comfort and quality, but future guests should be aware that the hosting experience may not match the standard of the accommodation itself."
